Used Hobs

There are several types of used hobs available: gas, induction, ceramic and seal-plated.
With the heat source totally visible, it is easier to see how high the heat is with a gas hob. Many consider a gas hob the simplest and most reliable way of cooking. It also has the safety benefit that hobs can be turned off in an instant if necessary. Perhaps not the most energy efficient of options, gas used hobs are still extremely popular. Instant heat and precise controlling of the heat source are real plus points of gas hobs. Most hobs have pan supports that are removable making them easy to clean.
Induction hobs are extremely fast with cooking speeds up to twice that of conventional gas hobs. Some induction used hobs will be capable of boiling a pan of water in little over a minute. Cleaning induction hobs is also easy too. Most spillages can be simply wiped away with a cloth but specific induction hobs care kits provide the best results.
Ceramic hobs are made of ceramic glass that can help to give kitchens a modern feel. Most ceramic hobs are powered by electricity. However, gas-on-glass and induction versions are also available.
Sealed plate hobs use an electric element to heat the sealed plates of the hob. Heat can be easily managed with rotary controls.
Overall, all types of used hobs have particular advantages and all produce consistently good results. Your choice of used hobs is likely to be based on personal preference and taste.
